It is fair time in Loughborough, and the streets are full of people determined that the pouring rain won't stop them having fun.



As usual I gravitate to the wild fantasy world of the gallopers.

These are fantastic pictures-- I like how the blurring on the top one gives the horse a slightly sinister look. I like the little grotesque face too. There's something joyful about the motion-blur of pictures taken on a moving merry-go-round...

Thanks. I think the face is meant to be a clown face, but the effect is more goblin...
