Thanks. So far Leicestershire has been fairly lucky. But these very heavy downpours are straining the storm drains to their limits. The really big anxiety is that the sewers may back up - then we would have sewage flooding up out of the drains. But even an inch or two of clean rainwater in the house could do a lot of damage.
